I am Sara Taylor, the Gifted and Talented Coordinator for Alvord ISD.  This will be my third year in Alvord ISD.   Prior to joining Alvord ISD, I taught 1st, 2nd, &  3rd grades in Dallas ISD and virtual students for Uplift Education.  I am also a Professional Development Specialist for a national education technology company.  I graduated from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama with a Speech Communication Degree and I also hold a master's degree in Christian Education.  After pursuing work in the non-profit and church world for many years, I began my career in public education and have continued on that path for about 10 years.  

I have two children.  My daughter attends Alvord Middle School and my son attends Alvord High school.  I am thankful to be able to work for this incredible district.
